There’s a narrative being written to pull people to polarities. It is seeking to divide, as a “roaring lion looking to devour”  but the division is only engaged when we allow ourselves as believers to “choose a side”. We must formulate both-and thinking & living. To only “choose a side” is unhealthy and unravels society. Christians must discern by gaining knowledge and being watchful, which leads us to uphold decisions for the common good on behalf of the nation while keeping persons accountable for getting the job done “on the street”, that includes ourselves.

Social Justice alone will lift humanity only but so far on its own strength, which is frail & finite. The Gospel Truth elevated in Jesus then raises dead souls to new life and cares for the vessel in which they’re laid.

Social Justice within the Gospel framework and because of the Gospel is both-and living, it’s living (&) thinking that Glorifies God the Father eternally.

When we choose to stand on the side of The Kingdom of God we influence all platforms and parties. We wield a hammer in one hand, to tear down systems and rebuild and a sword in the other which defends and protects.

Let us engage the Imago-Dei (Image of God) in the other person, shattered by sin yes but wholly restored in Christ. When we look to filter decisions of political policy for the common good ask yourself, “how will this affect and be implemented in their world?”

Ask yourself, “What can the government do and should do without relinquishing my responsibility as a member of the community and the body of Christ?”

The Gospel is about humility (&) sacrifice not comfort and privilege.
